NPW 2019: Thank you for keeping Canadians paid

September 9, 2019 – National Payroll Week (NPW) is a week created by the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) and is celebrated by payroll professionals across the country. NPW recognizes the accomplishments of payroll practitioners, the payroll community, and the CPA by building greater awareness of the size and scope of payroll and its impact on business, government, and the Canadian working public. NPW takes place the week of September 9-13, 2019, marking the 25th Anniversary of National Payroll Week and celebrating the Canadian Payroll Association’s 40th Anniversary. 2019 marks Payworks’ fifth year of gold sponsorship for the NPW events.

2019 Youth CEO Mentorship Program a Success

August 9, 2019 – Payworks recently completed its third year of participation in the Youth CEO (Creative Employment Opportunities) program that introduces Manitoban youth to the world of business. Payworks hosted Rhea Alves, a grade 12 Winnipeg high school student in a weeklong internship from July 29 – August 2.

United Way exceeds $21M target (Winnipeg Free Press)
